Trident Business Management Names New Advisory Partners

Jim Danz RRP and Bill Tsao, Managing Partners of Trident Business Management, have recently named two additional Advisory Partners to their team, joining other respected executives within the lodging and timeshare sectors of the leisure industry.

Newly selected Advisory Partners Frank A. Morrisroe and Gordon R. Bloeser have been chosen to provide strategic guidance and support to the Trident Business Management organization. They join previously selected Advisory Partners Steve Hicks and Sunil Aluvila. Trident provides services to clients requiring corporate, financial, or operational improvement, short-term crisis management, longer-term stabilization, and growth management.

Trident’s new Advisory Partner Frank A. Morrisroe is President of Equiant Financial Services, the leader in consumer receivables management, collections and payment processing for the timeshare industry. Equiant delivers solutions to complex receivables servicing issues encompassing invoicing, loan and maintenance payment processing.

Explains Bill Tsao, “In their association with Trident, Equiant provides us with a trusted partner for financial servicing.  It’s much easier for us to make the decision to outsource billing and early stage collections for a distressed company when our servicing partner already understands our business. In addition to the core business of financial servicing, Equiant is most creative when it comes to finding ways to use its communications link with owners and members as a marketing channel. Frank has a strong affinity for technology and a keen business sense for the application of emerging products. An added bonus is his past leadership position at RCI, which helps him provide us with a unique industry perspective.”

Morrisroe’s versatile 26-year career within the hospitality and timeshare industries includes being president of RCI North America. He has also served on the ARDA Board of Directors and is currently an active member of ARDA’s International Foundation.

“We have assembled a best-in-class group of professionals to serve as our Advisory Partners,” says Jim Danz. “Gordon Bloeser is our ‘go-to’ expert when it comes to sorting through the underwriting criteria that was used to structure loan originations for distressed companies in the timeshare sector.  He is also very adept at assisting us with mortgage portfolio valuations.  His intimate knowledge of the loan side of the business gives Trident an edge in our business development activities with banks and specialized lenders.”

After nearly three decades of providing business valuations for acquisition/development and consumer end loan finance facilities, Gordon Bloeser is recognized as one of the most experienced vacation ownership development lenders in the business. He has served GEICO Financial Services, Litchfield Financial/Textron Financial and most recently held the position of Senior Vice President for Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation for the past ten years. With a keen insight for assessing cash flow valuation, stabilization of assets and the successful liquidation of those assets, he has successfully led various developments through challenging workout phases. As an ARDA member for over 25 years, Gordon has been a speaker at numerous regional and national conferences and has also been a member of various ARDA committees as well as the American Financial Services Association.
