Timeshare Advertising Leader Hires Jay Bade To Head Business Development

Sell My Timeshare NOW, the global leader in the online marketing of timeshare resales and timeshare rentals announces the hiring of Jay Bade as the company’s Executive Director of Business Development.

Bade is as an industry veteran with 20 years experience in timeshares. He was the past Vice President, Eastern Region for Trading Places International, where he was responsible for business development in the eastern US, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico. Prior to being with Trading Places, Jay was the Director of Club Inventory Development for Bluegreen Resorts.

In a timeshare industry career that began at RCI on the call center sales floor, and included advancing to key client management and business development for RCI Resort Services, Jay is experienced in working with resorts, exchange services, owners associations, and inventory acquisitions.

CEO Jason Tremblay expressed his enthusiasm for the new executive. “Sell My Timeshare NOW is in an aggressive growth mode. To help us realize our expansion plans, it is important that we find a person with the right combination of vision and experience to head our business development division. Jay Bade is the right person for this job.”

Sell My Timeshare NOW received $8.5 million in expansion capital in December as part of their growth initiative. Tremblay explains, “Businesses like Sell My Timeshare NOW, which have embraced the opportunity to serve their clients online, are growing despite the economy.”

Bade recognizes that the online business model, which is fundamental to the success of the company, is the key. “This company clearly finds buyers and renters for the inventory on its website, which is demonstrated by the $461 million in offers collected in 2008. Bade will be responsible for creating corporate relationships in order to build on the B2B success of the company’s Resort Services Division. Outreach efforts are underway with developers, resort management companies, and homeowners associations to discuss solutions to their owner services and resale inventory needs.

The company’s website, www.sellmytimesharenow.com saw a 16 percent increase in website traffic in 2008 with 25,256,677 total visitors.
